VISION
To become for year 2020 the most important geostrategic position for international trade on the Pacific Rim, from the port's, industrial, agro-industrial, commercial, maritime and tourism activities.

Sociedad Portuaria Delta del Río Dagua has been promoting the construction of one of the new docks in the bay of Buenaventura: the Terminal Marítimo Delta del Río Dagua; it will be a multipurpose terminal with service to the general public, in areas belonging to the nation, located in front of kilometer five (K5) of the maritime access channel,
between the mouths of the Caiman or Boca Cangrejo River and Estero Hondo, three kilometers equidistant from the mouths of rivers Dagua and Anchicayá. It will have a 16.5 m. anchoring depth and maneuvering area, sufficient to meet the transshipment market or cargo in international transit.

Macro proyecto Delta del Río Dagua is a conglomerate of structures aimed to provide special services in port management and development of different fields in this industry.
Willing to reach higher levels of marketing, Macro proyecto Delta del Río Dagua includes four port areas and an industrial zone, all of sustainable growth.
TMD
First project to build will have space for liquid bulk (Fuel).
COAL DOCK AND YARD
There will be 30 hectares of land to hold the yard.
FISHING PORT AND TUNA PROCESSING
It will give the community the opportunity to directly to the port, will also generate employment in the tuna processing plant and fishing sub-products.
TIMBER DOCK
A wood processing plant in order to export processed wood.
LIGHT INDUSTRY
There will be lots with the necessary infrastructure to allow national and international companies to settle and transform products.
FUNDELTA
Fundación Solidaria Delta del Río Dagua -FUNDELTA- was born as one of the most important social objectives of the TMD seeking not only economic development, but also the welfare of the surrounding community to this project.
Fundelta, once financing for TMD is obtained and based on the agreements SPDRD SA signed and legalized with communities in the direct area of influence of the Terminal Marítimo Delta del Río Dagua, will focus on five very important aspects community: environment, health, housing, employment and education.
